About the Artist
Mary Whalley is a New Zealand-born artist and educator based in Portugal. Transitioning from a background in sculptural and public art and education in London, she now focuses on printmaking to explore her experience as an immigrant. Her work captures urban and botanical details, using these observations and regular workshops to foster community connection.
