About the Artist

Mary Whalley is a New Zealand-born artist and educator based in Portugal. Transitioning from a background in sculptural and public art and education in London, she now focuses on printmaking, primarily working in relief printing. Her work captures urban and botanical details and explores her observations and experiences as an immigrant.
